Peter Bommer
President 

Pete began his oilfield career in 1974 as a roustabout for Dawson Well Service out of Charlotte, Texas. After graduating college with his Petroleum Engineering degree, he went to work for Chevron USA as a reservoir engineer, working on enhanced recovery projects in the Los Angeles basin. In 1981, he joined Bommer Engineering Co. and now serves as its President. Pete has been involved with all aspects of the upstream E&P business, including drilling, completion, and reservoir engineering. He also has a depth of experience in mineral asset appraisal work, having evaluated thousands of oil and gas properties over his forty year career. He is also expert in hydraulic fracturing and unconventional completion design, having supervised the completion of over 150 shale wells in five major basins including the direct supervision of over 3500 frac stages. He is a published author in the fields of hydraulic fracturing, fracture driven well interference, and cloud-based data analytics. He holds degrees from the University of Texas at Austin and Dallas Theological Seminary.

Paul Bommer
Advisor

Michele began her oil and gas career as a technical analyst with Clajon Gas Marketing Company in 1985. She has advanced over the years in the fields of data management and analytics, first with Parker and Parsley and then Abraxas Petroleum. Michele is expert in the PhdWin reserve evaluation platform, and is also familiar with OGRE and Aries. Her skills include SQL database construction and Spotfire analytics.

A founding member of Bommer Engineering Co, Paul has held the position of Senior Lecturer in the department of Petroleum and Geosystems Engineering at the University of Texas for the last twenty years. He is widely published across a range of engineering topics and has served on various governmental panels, including the National Academy of Sciences investigative committee on the Macondo blowout. Paul continues to serve the company in an advisory capacity and is available for special technical projects.
